Support Worker

Praxis Care is passionate about wanting to make a difference to service users lives and through empowerment, collaborative working and a recovery based approach; we strive towards this goal on a daily basis at Newry. Each service user has their very own individual, person centred support packages in place to best promote skills of independence, both within a supported living environment and within service users own homes.
We have a positive staff team at Newry who are involved in engaging service users, with both mental health/learning disability needs, to partake in activities both within the scheme and within the local community. We strive to achieve best outcomes on a daily basis ultimately enabling our service users to live as independent a life as possible.

As an organisation we are dedicated to ensuring that all of our employees are equipped to carry out their role. We therefore provide comprehensive training that all employees complete before taking up their new career within Praxis which will last for 2 weeks and cover all of the information and training you will need.
