What It Takes:
An important part of the staff role is to support our service users who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions.
So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.
Our dedicated staff team support our service users to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our service users with day to day life.

We’re looking for experienced care professionals to join our growing team in Lisburn SLS, who will take an active role in supporting adults with mental ill health, learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and behaviours that may challenge.
Praxis Care’s positive behaviour support (PBS) services continue to develop in sophistication and scope, supporting individuals who need specialised care from people who know how to do it best.
Praxis Care’s PBS services provide a training ground for individuals who already know their way around a care service with practical, skilled guidance from colleagues and trainers. New recruits can be confident they will get comprehensive support while having fun with the team around them.

£23,554 – £26,543 per annum
*Salary based on 39 hours per week. Salary dependent on /experience. Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of £45.00 per night applies*
